Nursing Home views on resident's part time employment

I am completely new to this subject so please bear with me if I’m asking the obvious. Once a person is a resident of a nursing home is it possible for them to continue part-time employment, say 15 hours over 3 days per week. A taxi would pick them up each mid-morning and return them mid-afternoon?

Hi Alessandro, I have never heard of a nursing home resident working. Most people who enter residential aged care do so because they are unable to manage at home and have complex care means and have an ACAT assesment which states they require this support. However a resident of a retirement village may work parttime as long as they are 55 years or over.
