We are in a position where we will be looking for aged care for a parent.
Looking through the myagedcare website, the various facilities quote prices for rooms. Are these prices negotiable at all?
Do providers prefer either a RAD or a DAP (which might mean they are more willing to negotiate?). Or is there so much demand that I shouldn’t bother trying to negotiate?
In my personal experience it seems that RADs are appealing for Aged Care Homes. It is definately worth trying to negotiate with the home particulalry if you are paying a RAD.
