Is it possible to vary the DAP cost by increasing a contribution to RAD subsequent to the innitial election?
Affinity Aged Care Financial Services response as follows:In most cases where you have elected a DAP/RAD combination upon entry, you are able to increase the amount contributed to the RAD and reduce the DAP.We would suggest speaking to the facility operator to advise your intentions and they will be able to help you.
My understanding is that you can vary your contribution by increasing the RAD component but have asked Affinity to confirm that.I will post answer when I get their reponse.Jill
I’d also be interested to know if you can vary the RAD/DAP combination - presumably only by increasing the RAD - at all, after making the decision within the first 28 days?
