My elderly mother-in-law may be moving with us to Australia. We are all NZ citizens.
Does anyone know if NZ citizens are equally eligible and entitled to the same government funding for aged care as Australian citizens?
I understand that there are various means tests etc, and I am just trying to determine whether my mother-in-law would be treated the same as an Australian citizen regarding aged care, before making the decision to move.
