Am getting conflicting information regarding the deeming of the family home after 2 years of entering residential aged care. I was told first the home wont be counted as an asset at all as I live in it and am disabled but now I read it will still be assessed even though i live in it.
Does anyone know about hardship provisions seeing I would essentially become homeless if the house is sold?
